Introduction to Mindfulness

This 2-hour workshop will introduce mindfulness tools and practices to take into our daily life and activities to live life with more calmness, peacefulness and joy.

What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is a continuous practice that we can bring into our lives at home, at work, at school and in our communities to live life with more awareness, love, peace and joy.

By bringing mindfulness into our daily activities - such as walking, sitting, eating, studying, drinking, waiting to check out at the shops, talking to a friend and hugging a loved one - we can nourish peace, calm, and joy in ourselves and therefore, share it with others.

Research shows that living a mindful life can help reduce anxiety and stress.

Topics include:
- Mindfulness Theory
- Science behind Mindfulness and Meditation
- Mindful Walking

- Mindful Movement (Qi Gong, Yoga and Gentle Stretches)
And more
