The Art of Slowing Down: Breathwork & the Nervous System

A powerful 1-hr breathwork + nervous system workshop that breaks all the myths around slowing down. You’ll learn about the benefits of breathwork, how to move out of your stress + anxiety body response to calm + healing mode, a simple yet effective breathing technique AND a 1-minute breathing exercise to do daily.

Feel like you’re constantly running on a treadmill? A treadmill that only makes you run faster, and faster, and faster? And you keep running because you feel like if you choose to stop, you’ll land flat on your face?

You’re not alone.

Slowing down is an art and a practice.

But with how much we've got on our plates, slowing down might feel absolutely impossible.

Maybe even anxiety reducing.

The world around you has been set up to make you feel constantly behind.

So no wonder you're always rushing for an imaginary finish line.

Capitalism tell you that your worth is based on your productivity and output.

So when you want to slow down and like just LIVE versus being productive all the time, you feel like you can't.

The system of pedal to metal, of living life fast, of always running and rushing and being busy is driving humans into the ground. Literally.

We've become a society of high strung, highly stressed and highly anxious individuals.

f you're ready to shake sh*t up and disrupt this constant fast moving, busy mind way of living, you're invited to my next online mindfulness workshop:

The Art of Slowing Down: Breathwork & the Nervous System

For me, slowing down now feels like a whole full body EXHALE.

A softening of my tight fist around trying to keep up.

Slowing down now feels like giving myself a big, healing, loving HUG.

And I want this for you too!!!!

In this fun, interactive 60-min workshop you will learn how to embrace slowing down.

What you’ll learn:

  • The benefits of breathwork and why it’s so powerful

  • A deeper understanding of your nervous system’s survival response vs resting + healing response

  • A simple breathing technique called 3-part deep breathing aka diaphragmatic breathing

  • A 1-minute breathing exercise you can fit into any busy schedule

  • How to take more satisfying, nourishing, fuller breaths and activate your body’s natural ability to heal, rest and feel calm

You’ll leave the workshop with both knowledge and practical tools you’ll use for the rest of your life to help you when you feel rushed, stressed and anxious.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You always feel like you’re rushing in life, work and relationships

  • You feel like your life’s speedometer is turned to MAX and you’re exhausted

  • You want to take you foot off the pedal but you’re scared and not sure how to start

  • You’re ready to slow the f down but don’t know how

  • You have issues winding down and sleeping because your mind’s too busy

About your facilitator: Victoria

Hi! I’m Victoria, your guide for this workshop. Slowing down was always something I avoided when I lived in the big city and worked my M-F office job. Slowing down was simply something I could. not. do. It was hella uncomfortable.

It wasn’t until I discovered mindfulness and became a regular mindfulness practitioner did I learn WHY slowing down was important for my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

As someone who often found herself stressed and anxious and unable to sleep through the night, slowing down was the key to not just calming my mind but calming my body.

After years of practice, study and training others in mindfulness and meditation, making the practice of slowing down accessible and not as daunting as it seems is a deep passion of mine. I see slowing down as a tool for disrupting the system that constantly tells us to do, do, do instead of BE. I see it as turning sh*t upside down in a society that is constantly telling us that our worth is directly linked to our performance, AS IF WE’RE MACHINES.

Slowing down is RECLAIMING your brith right of joy, ease, freedom.
