Open your Heart: Yoga & Meditation for the Heart Chakra Class

Located in the centre of our chest, our Heart Chakra or Anahata Chakra, governs our ability to breathe, to love, to be happy, to be open, to be kind and to be compassionate. When our Heart Chakra is unbalanced, this can have strong affects on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies including negative thoughts and emotions, feeling unloved or unworthy, unappreciated and judgemental towards ourselves and others.

When the Heart Chakra is healthy we go with the flow of life and the heart becomes a wellspring of love, kindness and compassion for us to share this with our family, friends and most importantly, ourselves.

This Heart Chakra Workshop will focus on cultivating loving energy and opening up our hearts with dynamic yoga movements to start and ease into Yin poses to integrate this loving energy into our bodies and minds. Throughout the class, students will be guided with mindfulness and a heart chakra meditation to further cultivate our ability to give and receive love freely.

Victoria Nhan is a yoga and mindfulness teacher, trainer and Reiki practitioner. Founder of Yoga in Vietnam, the practice has been part of Victoria's life for over six years. She left her office job to explore the world and discover different ways of being. 

Yoga & Mindfulness continue to be a practice that nourishes her on and off the mat. Victoria's teachings and practice draw on her own experience and transformation through yoga, mindfulness and Reiki, and builds on the simple question, "how can we live life with more love, peace, and joy?"
